John Shipman is an award-winning and nationally recognized thought leader in green real estate practices and innovation, a pioneer in training and mentoring of real estate professionals on green homes and energy efficiency. He has trained more than 5,000 Real Estate Professionals in green real estate and green building fundamentals. In 2014, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) awarded him with its national Evergreen Award and named him its NAR Green Instructor of the Year. John holds a senior level position for a national company overseeing all Business Development activities, Southern California program implementation, outreach, partnership, and innovation activities. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA and a Master of Science in Environmental Studies with a focus on Human Behavior and the Environment from California State University, Fullerton.
